Baking soda can help you revive your plants. Here’s what it’s for and how to prepare the bicarbonate mixture.

In addition, you must always make sure that the plant is not infected by bacteria or parasites. Pests are the main enemy of those who garden both professionally and passionately. They can be pests, molds, fungi, insects and mites and are dangerous for the survival of the plant itself.

These attach themselves to plants, especially in summer, and there are various means of combating them.  Many of them are the so-called grandmother methods. From Marseille soap to garlic, tomato macerate or neem oil, but also the use of baking soda.

Mixture to rid plants of bacteria

Therefore, you can treat plants even without pesticides, protecting yourself and your environment with natural ingredients such as bicarbonate.  The plants will grow and bloom, but at the same time you will prevent fungi or bacteria from settling on the leaves. If not treated in time, they will actually cause young shoots to grow poorly.

At this point you will find leaves that have already died. This means that the fungi have arrived and you must intervene before the entire plant dies. You will need some sodium bicarbonate, whose active ingredient is antibacterial and also has antiseptic properties. Just a teaspoon is enough.

Then put the teaspoon of baking soda in a jug and then add seven drops of soap.  Now pour in 1 liter of water and mix well with the teaspoon. Then pour the mixture obtained into a spray bottle and spray it on the plants every 5 days, about 2 times.

Spray well above and below the leaves, as bacteria and parasites often hide right underneath.  This way, your plant will remain bacteria-free and protect it from possible diseases in the future  . You will now have healthy and lush plants that bloom without bacteria.
