Among these there is also that of pepper, a summer vegetable much appreciated and widespread in numerous kitchen preparations.
So let’s see what tricks to put into practice to grow it correctly in pots.
- Soil: one of the most important elements in the cultivation of vegetables, especially seeds, is the soil. In the case of peppers, in particular, it is important that they are not hard and compact to allow the roots to develop as best as possible.
- Vase: it is advisable to use terracotta vases with holes in the bottom, to allow excess water to drain.
- Position: it is important to position the seeds correctly and at the right distance from each other to avoid the plants having little space to develop.
- How to plant: After placing the seeds, a key step is to cover them properly. A light layer of earth is enough to cover them but at the same time allow them to germinate. Next, the soil surface must be moistened.
- Position: Once planted, the seeds must be positioned correctly. The best position is a bright and well-ventilated place, where there is not too much direct light, because this could dry out the soil very quickly.
